I had treatment from Nicole Tessier, DPT, for an ankle injury. She was professional, knowledgeable and very compassionate every time I saw her. Nikki is knowledgeable and caring. I am thankful to have found her when I needed physical therapy the first time. When I needed therapy again, I made sure to go back to her. Nicole has been instrumental in strengthening us and restoring my husband and I to good health. Many in your profession are well educated and professional and possibly skilled. Nicole possess's all these attributes as well as being kind, warm and encouraging. What stands out to us is her ability to gently challenge and enthusiastically encourage her patients. We don’t respond well to “cold drill sergeant” orders. She took the time to listen to us and helped us realistically define and set goals for healing. Then, she made every effort to help us achieve them. We speak often of her healing touch. Many are technically adept but lack that special, palpable “healing touch” that she possess. My husband and I have difficulty trusting many in the medical field these days. It is crucial to be able to relax into therapy, trusting completely in the direction of the therapist. Nicole has established a trust relationship with us, and we are grateful. We are comfortable under her vigilant eye and are after amazed at her ability to observe and hone in on minute details concerning us. We are in our “older years” and regularly feel that we are little more than a number on a chart, or our identity is directly attached to our health insurances payment scale…not with her. We are treated with kindness, attention, and dignity. Her clinic is always neat, clean, and welcoming, and although she is respectful of our time, we never feel rushed. Nicole gives so much of herself as she ministers to so many. Thank you for ‘pouring’ yourself out to help others.
